The Arkansas Department of Insurance and the federal government passed laws that require insurance carriers to standardize Medicare Supplement insurance. Only the monthly premiums, and how the premiums are calculated, may vary.
All Medicare Supplements sold in Arkansas provide the same general benefits, however, some provide more gap coverage. This lets you to select the plan with the amount of insurance you want.
Each carrier markets the policies it deems best. Insurers:
- Are not required to offer every plan
- Must offer Plan A
